At MathSTEM, math tutoring is the foundation of everything we do. We support students through clear instruction, engaging practice, and culturally grounded learning experiences that build confidence and skill.
But we don’t stop at tutoring.
Through storytelling, demonstrations, presentations, theater, and AI‑powered engagement, students transform math into a living experience one they can see, feel, and express in their own voice. Our mobile school bus extends this mission even further, meeting students where they are and turning any space into a vibrant math classroom.
Our programs are powered by our Student Ambassadors, a team of high school and college leaders who help create welcoming, creative learning environments for younger students. Their leadership ensures that every child feels seen, supported, and inspired.
Guided by the legacy of Dr. Elbert Frank Cox, we carry his vision forward through MathSTEM Foundation, preparing students for strong, innovative STEM futures rooted in identity, creativity, and possibility.

MathSTEM is in need of a specialized team focused on designing, refining, and expanding MathSTEM’s enrichment strategies, lessons, and instructional models.
Funding Need: Math enrichment development, implementation, , execution instructional design, and educator support.
Cypher Dash Mini‑App (2027 Launch)
Cypher Dash is a fast‑paced interactive digital math game powered by STEM, culture, storytelling, and identity‑based engagement. Students solve quick challenges that make math feel fun, relevant, and alive.
Funding Need: App development, design, testing, and pilot rollout.
